My exam results are going to be out in 37.5 hours time. Just thought I should address the monstrous fear that's gobbling up my innards. My guts are gone. Completely digested. I imagine myself holding that deceptively insignificant tiny slip of a thing and ripping it apart only to see a mess of non-As and a double-digit aggregate. I imagine the numbness that stops all movement and slowly, slowly my heart sinks to my feet causing a tingle to ripple throughout my corpse as realization that my future is in shards settles in. I feel my mind fracture into pieces and what happens next I don't know anymore.
I'm crossing my fingers so hard. Not asking for much, just 6 points please.

Why is it that when you do your best not to look silly that you do the silliest things? When you try so very hard not to trip that you fall flat on your face with your skirt hiked up your arse (haha)? Or maybe when you try to prove the fact that you aren�t a stupid, non-opinionated female that your words just won�t come?
And conversely, good things happen when you don�t expect or hope for them too. Like when you�ve just bought a pair of shoes and you suddenly walk into another shop only to discover the one pair you�ve wanted all your life. Or maybe when you�ve just broken up and are so turned off by the opposite sex and someone brilliant comes along.. It�s not that good things never come; it�s only that they come along at all the wrong times. Just to taunt us.
