  twenty years

My parents are away on their 20th anniversary holiday, and they're only forty-two. That their marriage has lasted all these years is something that never fails to amaze me, for their relationship stemmed from a delicate love that took root when they were but seventeen, and even they never dreamed then that it would subsist and mature into an enduring commitment which has only strengthened with time.

I am so proud of them, for they are a testament to the fact that real love does last forever, no matter where or when or how it's found. So do not belittle the love you find now, for it may be one that will suffice for a lifetime.
  finally fixed

Finally fixed the template problem that prevented me from blogging these past few weeks. And what a difference a few weeks make. So many things have happened that are best left untold, and framed in beautiful, sepia-tinted pages of memory to be kept for always. Old wrinkles have been ironed out and an unblemished silken sheet has surfaced once again, shimmering with promise.

An old chapter concluded, now a marvellous new one has just begun.
